This year, Michał Szpak performed at the SuperHit Festival in Sopot singing “Mechaniczna lalka”, the song by Violetta Villas, and “Raz dwa raz dwa” by Kora – the repertoire was chosen by Michał to honour the memory of the artists who are no longer with us.
For his performance of “Mechaniczna lalka”, Michał prepared an extremely original styling referring to the character of Violetta Villas – a large black latex dress and a hairstyle a la Villas – with the characteristic curl on the forehead. While he was singing, Michał was accompanied by dancers who had prepared an interesting and impressive choreography.
The whole show, along with Michał’s vocal, delighted the festival audience, as evidenced by the huge popularity of the performance on social media and on YouTube.
