July evening by the shore of Jeziorak – 10.07.2013

As it was noticed by Tomasz Woźniak, the Director of a Cultural Center in Iława, such a huge applause that  Michał received at the Amphitheater in Iława, had been heard during Złota Tarka  for the last time. Złota Tarka  is an annual international jazz festival that takes place every year over there. The appearance of Michał in Iława was also a dream of Weronika Marczuk, an artistic director and organiser of the a festival ‘’ Sąsiedzi przy Stole’’ (Neighbors at a Table). Weronika was convinced that, despite the aura of  a controversy regarding the image of Szpak, his stage talent would win the hearts of the public. And in fact, the great vocal and the impressive repertoire (from Whitney Houston and Queen to Niemen) met unquestionable sympathy of the listeners. Particularly enthusiastic reactions were shown by the young generation, who warmly applauded the vocalist during the concert, and immediately after the performance rushed towards his changing room to get autographs.
