The “Byle Byc Soba” album is the first full-length album by Michał Szpak. The title of the album is not accidental. On it, Michał shows us his more mature side, and the title itself contains the message of the entire album, that you must have the courage to be yourself, go your own way, seek inspiration only from wise people, and change only under the influence of your own experience and not the opinions of others. As the artist himself claims, he had to gain experience to record material that reflects his emotions.
The album surprises with the entire palette of musical and vocal colours.
Although we were already aware of the versatility of Michał’s vocals, we did not expect such a cross-section of styles on the album. We go on a vocal journey from gentle pop singing (“Tic Tac Clock”) colored with musical elements (“Upaść, ale wstać”) through rock hoarseness (“What A Shame”, “Rosana”) to operatic vocals (“Bo zycie takie jest”).
Musically, the album is completely different from the EP. We will hear a very wide range of live instruments starting from acoustic tracks (“Byle Byc Soba”, “Ostatni Zakret”), through strong rock and electronic sounds in the style of the 80’s and 90’s & nbsp; (“What a Shame”, “Znika Caly Zmrok “) ending with symphonic elements (” Bo Zycie Takie Jest “). Everything perfectly composed and arranged.

The lyrics are filled with very sublime and mature texts of Aldona Dąbrowska. One can get the impression that the album has a bit of a solemn character and is too mature for Michał. You can hear, however, that Michał finds himself perfectly in this style and that is exactly how he wants to convey his emotions.
On the CD we can find both Polish and English-language songs and two of them: “Jestes Bohaterem” (“Real Hero”) and “Bo Zycie Takie Jest” (“Such Is Life”) will be heard in both language versions. Michał copes well in both Polish and English texts.
